GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Al-Mujahideen Brigades has announced its intention to hand over the Bibas family’s bodies tomorrow, February 20, 2025, as part of a prisoner exchange with the Israeli occupation regime.
The mother and her two children were taken prisoners during the October events of 2023, but they were killed in an Israeli airstrike along with their guards during the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.
“As part of the first phase of the prisoner exchange agreement with the Palestinian resistance, the bodies of the Bibas family, who were captured by a group of al-Mujahideen Brigades fighters on October 7, 2023, will be handed over tomorrow, Thursday, February 20, 2025,” spokesman for the Brigades Abu Bilal said in a statement on Wednesday.
“These captives had been kept safe and treated well in accordance with the teachings of Islam before they were bombed with Israeli missiles and killed along with their captors,” Abu Bilal added, pointing out that the Brigades was keen on preserving the family’s bodies during the war.
