GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Hamas leader Taher Al-Nunu said that the Israeli occupation seeks through negotiations to free the Israeli captives, stressing that his Movement expects negotiations to be a step towards stopping the ongoing Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people.
The Israeli occupation is committing a slow killing policy against Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli prisons, through torture and deliberate medical negligence, Al-Nunu added.
He condemned the Israeli mass destruction in the Gaza Strip, that targeted infrastructure, homes and schools.
The Movement called on the international community to intervene urgently to stop the Israeli violations against Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails and called for providing international protection for Palestinian civilians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip.
In the midst of catastrophic humanitarian suffering for more than two million Palestinians — half of them children, the Israeli occupation army continued, for the 451st consecutive day, to pound and target different areas and massacre more civilians in the Gaza Strip, especially in the northern areas.
