GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of Islamic Jihad, published a video of Israeli captive Arbel Yehud, 29, on the Telegram channel on Monday.
The video was seemingly taken on Saturday, on the same day the four Israeli female soldiers were released.
The video begins with Arbel introducing herself, her date of birth, where she is from, and both her ID number and military ID number before she addresses her family.
In the recording, she also states that she served in the Israeli occupation army between October 2013 and October 2015.
“To my family: I am fine. I miss you so much and hope to be with you soon, like the other girls who were released,” she said.
She then addresses the Israeli prime minister and the US president, saying “I ask you to do everything you can to ensure that the ceasefire continues as planned so that all the captured people return home safely and all the Palestinian prisoners can be freed and return home safely.”
The video emerged after it was revealed on Monday that Yehud, alongside Israeli soldier Agam Berger and an additional male captive, will be released next Thursday.
Seven Israeli female captives have been released so far in exchange for hundreds of Palestinian prisoners, including women and children.
