GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Hamas spokesman, Abdul Latif al-Qanou, said “tightening the siege on the Gaza Strip, closing the crossings for the sixth day and blocking aid delivery constitute one of the forms of the extermination war that did not stop against our people.”
Al-Qanou stressed, in a press statement on Friday, that the policy of starvation and collective punishment pursued by the Israeli occupation represents a flagrant violation of international and humanitarian laws and is considered a war crime that the world must stop and hold its perpetrators accountable.
He called on the international community, all human rights, and humanitarian institutions, and the free people of the world to push the Israeli occupation to open the crossings, allow the entry of aid and medical supplies, and end the suffering of the Palestinian people.
Last Sunday, Israeli occupation authorities blocked the entry of all humanitarian aid to Gaza and closed all border crossings in the Strip.
