GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The spokesperson for the Al-Qassam Brigades, Abu Obeida, affirmed on Sunday that the brigades have handled the issue of Israeli captives and bodies with complete transparency, emphasizing that they fulfilled all their obligations based on the ceasefire agreement.
In a statement published on his official Telegram channel, Abu Obeida explained that the brigades handed over all living captives and remains in their possession as quickly as possible and without delay, despite Israel’s noncompliance and its repeated violations and massacres.
He noted that the brigades were keen to close this file entirely and had no interest in prolonging it, out of concern for the interests of the Palestinian people. He pointed out that the process was carried out under extremely difficult and nearly impossible conditions, with all transfers taking place under the knowledge of mediators.
Abu Obeida called on the mediators to assume their responsibilities and compel the Israeli occupation to uphold what was agreed upon.
Regarding the body of the soldier Ran Gvili, Abu Obeida confirmed that the Al-Qassam Brigades had provided mediators with all available details and information regarding the location of the soldier’s remains.
He concluded by stating that the enemy’s ongoing search in a specific location, based on the information provided by the brigades, is clear proof of the accuracy of their account.
