GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Dr. Ashraf al-Qudra, the spokesperson for the Ministry of Health, announced an increase in the death toll of malnutrition and dehydration victims to 18 martyrs in the Gaza Strip.
Al-Qudra clarified in a press statement on Wednesday that this increase came after the martyrdom of a 15-year-old girl at Al-Shifa Medical Complex due to malnutrition and dehydration.
He warned that the famine in northern Gaza has reached lethal levels, especially for children, pregnant women, and chronic patients.
He said, “The famine is deepening, and it will claim the lives of thousands of citizens if the (Israeli) aggression is not stopped and immediate entry of humanitarian and medical aid is allowed.”
He indicated that the Israeli occupation army deliberately commits horrifying and consecutive massacres against thousands of hungry stomachs in northern Gaza.
He called on the international community to use all means of pressure to ensure an immediate cessation of Israeli aggression.
He also urged the United Nations to take urgent measures to prevent the humanitarian and health disaster, especially in northern Gaza.
