Al-Quds Brigades: We lost contact with unit guarding Israeli captive

GAZA,(Palestine Foundation Information Center)  The Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad Movement, announced that they have lost contact with one of their units responsible for guarding an Israeli captive in the Gaza Strip.

In a statement posted on Tuesday on Instagram, the Al-Quds Brigades’ spokesperson, Abu Hamza, said: “We announce that since yesterday, Monday, we have lost contact with the unit responsible for securing the Zionist soldier prisoner, Baroon Breslavsky.”

Abu Hamza clarified that contact was lost with the unit guarding the soldier “Rom” after Israeli occupation forces invaded and besieged areas where the prisoner was believed to be held. He stressed:
“We do not know their fate as of this moment.”

He further stated: “Since the beginning of the genocidal war against our people, the criminal Netanyahu and his extremist far-right government have deliberately ignored the issue of their captives and are actively working to kill them and return them to their families in coffins.”
