Occupied Palestine (QNN) – Dozens of heavily guarded extremist Israeli settlers on Sunday broke into the al-Aqsa Mosque Compound via the Maghariba gate.
Jerusalem Islamic Waqf department said that at least 73 Israeli settlers along with four Israeli intelligence officers broke into al-Aqsa Mosque and roamed in its courtyards.
The department pointed out that the settlers performed Talmudic rituals at the eastern part of the mosque and received explanations on the so-called ‘Temple Mount’.
Despite tight Israeli restrictions, thousands of Palestinian worshipers from Jerusalem and the Palestinian territories occupied in 1948 visit al-Aqsa Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan.
Last week, over 571 Israeli settlers, including dozens of senior rabbis, broke into the Al-Aqsa Mosque and held several “preparatory” lectures and discussions ahead of the Jewish holiday of “Passover”.
On Thursday, alleged Temple Mount groups called for mass breakings into the al-Aqsa Mosque Compound in mid-April which marks the Jewish Passover holiday.
The alleged groups said that they will offer animal sacrifices at the courtyards of the al-Aqsa Mosque as part of performing Passover rituals.
The mass Israeli breakings into the al-Aqsa Mosque will be held on April 15 and continue until April 22, which coincides with the third week of the holy month of Ramadan.
It’s noteworthy that the al-Aqsa mosque Compound exposes on a daily basis to the storming of the Israeli settlers, at which they perform Talmudic rituals and discrete its sanctity.
