JENIN(Palestine Foundation Information Center) An elderly Palestinian was killed on Friday evening by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) in the West Bank city of Jenin, a focus of many of the Israeli raids.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said that its crews “transferred the martyr to the hospital.”
Palestinian health authorities in the occupied West Bank have said that the death toll from the IOF’s assault has reached 21, adding that Israeli forces targeted medical workers in Jenin.
Palestinian health authorities said that a doctor and two medical workers were wounded after coming under fire by the IOF while trying to reach the injured.
A large-scale Israeli military operation is continuing for the third consecutive day in Jenin, following a two-day operation in Tulkarem and Tubas.
The Israeli attack resulted in 21 martyrs and many wounded, in addition to widespread destruction of homes and infrastructure.
The IOF claimed they are targeting resistance fighters, but aid groups and health authorities have said that children, an elderly man, and a man with disabilities are among those killed.
