WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched a new raid and arrest campaign across the West Bank, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes on Thursday morning.
In Jenin, armed clashes erupted in Qabatiya town after IOF troops stormed the area and arrested two local young men.
Similar raids were reported in the nearby town of Barta’a, northwest of Jenin.
Violent confrontations also broke out in Sinjil town, northeast of Ramallah, after it was stormed by the IOF.
Meanwhile, hundreds of settlers stormed Kafl Haris town, north of Salfit, under military protection. A young man was detained during the raid.
The Israeli forces also stormed the Nablus towns of Tal and Urif, Barqa town in Ramallah, and the Umm Al-Sharayet neighborhood in Al-Bireh.
At least one young man was detained during the raids.
Two more Palestinians were arrested after the IOF stormed different areas in al-Khalil, while another was arrested in Bethlehem.
In Occupied Jerusalem, the Israeli forces surrounded the vicinity of the family house of the martyr Fadi Jamjoom, who carried out the Kiryat Al Malakhi shooting operation, in the Shuafat Camp in preparation for its demolition.
