NABLUS, (The Palestinian Information Center) The Palestinian Ministry of Health announced on Wednesday that a young man has died from injuries sustained by Israeli occupation gunfire in the Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus.
In its statement, the ministry said that Mohammad Jamal Madani, 25, was shot in the hand with live ammunition and transferred to the hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Special Israeli forces had infiltrated the camp in a vehicle bearing Palestinian license plates. They surrounded a house as reinforcements stormed in, spreading through the camp’s alleyways, firing live rounds and tear gas grenades. During the raid, Mujahid Khdeish was arrested after his home was encircled.
