GAZA, (The Palestine Foundation Pakistan)The Khan Yunis Police Department issued a warning on Friday against tampering with deformed objects and remnants left by the Israeli occupation army, following the injury of a child on Thursday evening due to the explosion of a suspicious object he had interacted with.
In a statement, the police said that a 12-year-old boy sustained shrapnel injuries across his body after a suspicious object exploded while he was handling it. The incident underscores the need for extreme caution and heightened parental vigilance, along with repeated awareness efforts for children.
The statement added that the Explosives Engineering Unit of Khan Yunis Police carried out several operations on Thursday to neutralize the danger posed by suspicious objects and remnants of the Israeli occupation forces. These included an MK-type dropped bomb in the town of Al-Qarara and an artillery shell in Hamad City.

War remnants and unexploded ordnance left behind by the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip continue to pose a constant threat to Palestinian lives. The lack of necessary tools and equipment to deal with these hazards, due to the blockade imposed on the Strip, further exacerbates the danger facing civilians.
The occupation army committed horrific acts of genocide against 2.4 million civilians in Gaza, targeting them with 200,000 tons of explosives, according to the Government Media Office in Gaza.
