NABLUS, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), A Palestinian child was injured on Thursday after being shot by Israeli occupation forces during a raid on the New Askar refugee camp, located east of Nablus in the northern West Bank.
The Palestinian Red Crescent reported that its teams treated a 15-year-old boy who had been shot in the leg with live ammunition.
Local sources said that Israeli military vehicles entered the eastern area of Nablus, then advanced into and around Askar Camp, where Israeli forces opened live fire, injuring the boy.
Since October 2023, the West Bank has witnessed widespread incursions and settler attacks, where Palestinian communities are increasingly targeted amid heightened tensions and settler violence.
