GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Al-Majd Security website announced on Wednesday that an assassination attempt targeting a resistance leader in central Gaza was thwarted following a “high-level intelligence operation.”
The site stated that security forces arrested two individuals involved in the plot and seized weapons equipped with silencers, along with surveillance equipment and disguises.
According to the report, the suspects confessed during interrogation to belonging to a group led by Shawqi Abu Nasira. They also admitted to receiving training from Israeli intelligence officers, including one identified as “Captain Abu Omar.”
The website added that further details regarding the suspects’ confessions will be released at a later time.
