NABLUS, (The Palestinian Information Center) A Palestinian citizen was martyred Friday evening after being shot by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) near the al-Murabba’a military checkpoint in the southwest of Nablus.
The victim, identified as 57-year-old Ahmad Shahada from the village of Urif, was reportedly stopped for inspection at the checkpoint before Israeli soldiers showered him with bullets.
Red Crescent personnel were prevented from reaching him, while an Israeli ambulance crew was later seen transporting him. He was subsequently pronounced dead.
