WEST BANK,(The Palestine Foundation Pakistan)The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) stormed on Tuesday night Qabatiya town, south of Jenin in the West Bank, and attacked local residents, injuring one woman in the leg.
According to local sources, the IOF stormed Qabatiya town and embarked on raiding homes and firing live ammunition and tear gas canisters at local youths, which provoked clashes with them.
The sources said that an elderly woman was injured in her leg by IOF gunfire during the events in the town, adding that Israeli soldiers brutalized citizens during their raids on homes.
The IOF also interrogated several citizens and deployed snipers on rooftops of some homes during its raid in the town.
In a separate incident, the IOF kidnaped on the same day a young man during a raid in al-Khader town, south of Bethlehem.
Israeli forces also stormed Idhna town, west of al-Khalil, and used a house as a military post.
Local sources reported that Israeli soldiers displaced the family of Abdul-Majid Tamizi in the town and used their home as military barracks, adding that they also fired tear gas canisters at citizens in the town’s streets.
