DOHA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Member of Hamas’s political bureau Husam Badran has reiterated the need to completely end the Israeli aggression and military operations against the Gaza Strip and help the displaced families return to their areas to reach a ceasefire, describing these demands as “the most prominent red lines that the resistance will not relinquish.”
In press remarks on Tuesday, Badran said that Israeli premier Benjamin Netanyahu’s talk about new negotiations over Gaza is an attempt to buy more time to kill more Palestinians, accusing Netanyahu of making lies and not seeking any ceasefire deal.
Badran added that the Movement had not received any official notification from mediators regarding the resumption of ceasefire negotiations.
“[Israel] is a rogue entity that violates international resolutionPremiers. Its attempt to justify its massacres in Rafah will fail and will not deceive the world,” the Hamas official said.
Dozens of people, mostly children and women, were massacred in Rafah in southern Gaza late Sunday in Israeli airstrikes on an area where displaced civilians were sheltering in tents. The area was already designated by the Israeli army as a safe zone.
Later on Tuesday, the Israeli army committed another appalling massacre in Rafah, killing at least 21 civilians and injuring 64 others in an attack on a camp sheltering displaced families in the al-Mawasi area, which is also considered a safe zone.
