BEIRUT (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Ali Baraka, the Head of Hamas’s National Relations Department abroad, saluted on Sunday the Arab and Islamic peoples who are rising up in rejection of the aggression against Palestinians.
Baraka said in a tweet through his official account on X, that he sends “greetings and appreciation to the Arab and Islamic peoples and the free people of the world who are rising today against the Zionist-American injustice and aggression against our Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip.”
“Declaring a global strike on Monday, April 7, is an important step to stop the war of annihilation and starvation committed by the criminal Netanyahu in Gaza,” he added.
Palestinian and Arab calls were launched in many countries of the world to participate in a global strike on Monday to protest the continuation of the Israeli genocidal war on the Gaza Strip.
Since October 7, 2023, Israeli occupation forces, with the support of the United States and European countries, have been waging a genocidal war on the besieged Gaza Strip, resulting in more than 165,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, mostly children and women, in addition to more than 11,000 missing.
