GAZA, (The Palestinian Information Center)The UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) warned on Friday that civilians in Gaza are trapped with no safe place to seek refuge.
In a statement, UNRWA said Gaza is enduring dire conditions with worsening food insecurity, stressing the urgent need for a ceasefire agreement before it is too late.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel, backed by the US, has been carrying out a genocide in Gaza that has killed 64,718 Palestinians and wounded 163,859 others, the majority of them women and children.
The genocide has also displaced hundreds of thousands and caused famine that has already claimed the lives of 411 Palestinians, including 142 children.
