A seminar marking Kashmir Black Day was held at the Arts Council of Pakistan, Karachi, bringing together political leaders, academics, and activists to express solidarity with the oppressed people of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Prominent speakers included Sheikh Abdul Mateen of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), Farzana Yaqoob, former MLA of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Nazakat, Bashir Sadozai, Adeel Farooqi, and Saleem, among others.
The speakers strongly condemned the ongoing human rights violations in Indian-occupied Kashmir and called for the international community to take concrete steps toward ending decades of oppression. They reaffirmed that the right to self-determination is the inalienable right of the Kashmiri people and urged unity among Pakistanis and Kashmiris in their struggle for freedom.
