Casualties and Destruction Mount as Israel and U.S. Renew Aggression on Iran

TEHRAN, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Zio-American aggression on Iran continues, while the last hours have witnessed a notable military escalation, after the Iranian Revolutionary Guard announced the launch of a missile wave described as among the most intense toward Israel, which led to the temporary suspension of air navigation at Ben Gurion Airport and disrupted American military operations in the region.

Iranian media reported on Thursday that the United States and Israel continued carrying out air strikes inside Iran, within the framework of the military aggression that began on 28 February, targeting various sites and infrastructure in several cities, amid talk of intensified air attacks during the last days.

According to the Iranian Red Crescent Society, the strikes have hit more than 6,668 civilian sites since the start of the war, including 5,535 residential units and 1,041 commercial facilities in addition to schools and medical centers, which Tehran considered evidence of a wide targeting of civilian infrastructure.

In the latest attacks, the Iranian Tasnim Agency reported that an Israeli attack using drones targeted the city of Fardis in Alborz province, which led to the martyrdom of one citizen and the injury of others.

The Iranian Mehr Agency also reported, quoting Tehran governor Mohammad Sadeq Motamedian, that at least 12 medical centers were damaged in the capital Tehran due to the Zio-American aggression.

A responsible source in Iran’s Markazi province reported that seven people were injured in an air bombardment that targeted six production units in the industrial area of the city of Arak.

In parallel, the scope of the confrontation expanded to include American facilities and military bases in the Gulf, where Iran announced carrying out missile and drone attacks on military targets in several countries in the region, while sirens sounded in wide areas inside Israel with the renewal of the bombardment.

This morning, the Iranian Mehr News Agency reported that the Iranian Revolutionary Guard “began a missile attack on the occupied territories.”

The Iranian army also announced that during the past hours it bombed targets at the Palmachim air base and Ovda base, in addition to the headquarters of the Shin Bet.

The Israeli Home Front announced the detection of missiles launched from Iran targeting the Jerusalem area and greater Tel Aviv, while the Israeli army reported that air defenses are working to intercept them.

Amid the continuation of the military operations, experts warned that the conflict is heading toward a more complex stage that could turn into a long war of attrition, especially with Iran relying on a wide network of missiles and drones that it continues to use in response to the attacks.

The war erupted on 28 February 2026 after surprise air strikes carried out by the United States and Israel against targets inside Iran, followed by a wide Iranian response with missiles and drones targeting Israel and American bases in the region, which opened an intertwined regional front that threatens to expand the scope of the conflict in the Middle East.
