GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A baby girl died Monday evening in southern Gaza due to severe malnutrition, a direct consequence of the Israeli siege and ongoing genocide since October 2023.
According to a medical source at the Nasser Medical Complex in Khan Yunis, the infant passed away in the pediatric and maternity ward from complications related to extreme malnutrition.
The tragedy underscores the devastating impact of the Israeli siege, which continues to block all crossings into Gaza, preventing vital humanitarian aid and relief supplies from reaching the population.
The World Food Program has reported that over 70,000 children in Gaza are currently suffering from critical levels of malnutrition.
This incident highlights the deadly toll of the siege and the ongoing crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces against civilians in Gaza.
