GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), A Palestinian child was killed by Israeli occupation forces on Tuesday in the Al-Mawasi area of Khan Yunis, southern Gaza, amid ongoing violations of the ceasefire agreement.
Medical sources reported that 13-year-old Khaled Saif al-Din Suleiman Arada was killed after being shot inside his tent by Israeli forces in Al-Mawasi.
In a separate incident, a 17-year-old girl was injured by gunfire from Israeli military vehicles stationed on Abu Ataya Hill in the Al-Mawasi area of Rafah. She was transferred to the Red Cross Hospital in southern Gaza for treatment.
Israeli forces have continued to breach the ceasefire agreement, in effect since October 10, 2025, through air and artillery strikes, as well as live fire across various parts of the Gaza Strip.
According to a daily statistical report on these violations, a total of 687 Palestinians have been killed since the ceasefire, with more than 1,849 others injured.
This brings the overall death toll since October 7, 2023, to more than 72,263 killed and 171,948 injured.
