GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), A civil defense officer was martyred on Saturday, succumbing to injuries sustained the previous day in an Israeli airstrike in northern Gaza.
Local sources reported that civil defense officer Suhail Dahman died of wounds he suffered when the Israeli occupation army targeted the area around al‑Ribat Mosque in Beit Lahia, north of Gaza.
Dahman’s son was also seriously injured during the attack that happened while they were on their way to check on their home in the Beit Lahia project area.
His death brings the total number of civil defense personnel killed in Israeli attacks on Gaza to 142 martyrs.
