Civilians killed in Deir al-Balah as Israeli air raids violate ceasefire

GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), At least eight Palestinians were killed and several others injured on Thursday morning as Israeli airstrikes targeted two homes in the city of Deir al-Balah in central Gaza, according to medical sources in the Strip.

Three people were killed, and others were injured in a strike on the al-Houli family home in western Deir al-Balah.

Meanwhile, the PIC correspondent confirmed that two more bodies were recovered after an Israeli airstrike hit the courtyard of the al-Jarro family home, also in the western part of the city.

Earlier, the Government Media Office in Gaza revealed that the Israeli occupation has continued to commit severe and systematic violations of the ceasefire agreement, which took effect on 10 October 2025.

The Office detailed 1,244 documented breaches of the ceasefire by Israeli forces, including 402 incidents of direct gunfire against civilians, 66 incursions by military vehicles into residential areas, 581 aerial and artillery attacks targeting unarmed civilians and their homes, and 195 demolitions and destruction of civilian homes, institutions, and buildings.

These systematic violations have resulted in the killing of 449 civilians whose bodies have reached hospitals and injuries to 1,246 others. Additionally, 50 cases of arbitrary arrest by Israeli forces were reported.
