Clashes and arrests in IOF raids across West Bank

WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Several areas in the West Bank witnessed violent confrontations between Palestinian youths and Israeli occupation forces on Friday evening, marked by simultaneous arrests and military raids.

In Ramallah Governorate, Israeli forces stormed Jalazone refugee camp north of the city, firing live bullets, stun grenades, and tear gas at youths, sparking intense clashes.

Simultaneously, confrontations broke out in the town of Ni’lin, west of Ramallah, following an incursion by Israeli troops who fired gas canisters between residential homes.

In another incident, Israeli forces arrested a young man after detaining him in the Wadi area of Kafr Ni’ma, west of Ramallah.

In Nablus Governorate, clashes erupted as Israeli forces raided the town of Burqa in the northwest and the village of Burin to the south, using heavy tear gas.

Meanwhile, settlers carried out provocative acts among Palestinian homes in the “Khallet al-Sidra” area near the town of Mikhmas, northeast of Occupied Jerusalem.

Settlers were also seen grazing their sheep near Palestinian homes in the village of Kisan, east of Bethlehem, and on agricultural lands on the outskirts of Atara town, north of Ramallah.

Earlier in the day, a group of Jewish settlers stormed Al-Salam Mosque in Deir Ballut, Salfit Governorate, where they took group photos in the mosque’s prayer niche and desecrated its sanctity with their shoes.
