Condemnation of U.S. and Israeli Aggression Against Iran; Tribute to Ayatollah Khamenei at Solidarity with Palestine Conference

Karachi (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Palestine Foundation Pakistan (PLF) strongly condemned the recent American and Israeli aggression against Iran and paid tribute to Ayatollah Khamenei, describing him as a hero of freedom-loving people around the world. Speakers at the Solidarity with Palestine Conference stated that Ayatollah Khamenei sacrificed his life for the people of Palestine and Gaza and embraced martyrdom with honor rather than accepting humiliation.

The conference and pictorial exhibition were organized by Palestine Foundation Pakistan at the Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi, where artists from various art universities participated and highlighted the Palestinian cause through their creative work in a cultural and artistic manner.

Addressing the conference, former Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan, Senator Siraj-ul-Haq, strongly condemned U.S. and Israeli aggression against Iran. He stated that Ayatollah Khamenei stood firm like Imam Hussain, sacrificed himself along with his family, and refused to bow to oppression. He further said that the Palestinian issue cannot be suppressed, and martyrdom only strengthens the resolve of the oppressed. He reiterated that Palestine belongs to the Palestinians and termed Israel an illegitimate state.

Other prominent speakers included former Senator Nihal Hashmi of Pakistan Muslim League (N), former Member of Sindh Assembly Mahfooz Yar Khan of Muttahida Qaumi Movement – Pakistan, renowned religious scholar Allama Amin Shaheedi, Secretary General of Palestine Foundation Pakistan Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam, as well as representatives from Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Israr Abbasi, Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan, Pakistan Leader Allama Qazi Ahmed Noorani,  Azher Hamdani of Muslim League (N), Christian community leader Pastor Rahmat Lal, Muaz Nizami, Qazi Zahid Hussain, President of Muttahida Ulama Mahaz Allama Amin Ansari, and Kashmiri leader Bashir Sadozai.

Speakers stated that Ayatollah Khamenei followed the tradition of Imam Hussain by embracing martyrdom alongside his family and refusing to accept disgrace. They called upon the Government of Pakistan to openly support Iran and clearly condemn American aggression. According to the speakers, the time demands abandoning hypocrisy and standing firmly with truth and justice.They claimed that the Muslim Ummah remains inspired by the spirit of martyrdom and stated that Ayatollah Khamenei, at the age of 86, stood courageously against global powers. They alleged that during U.S. attacks on Iran, 150 innocent girls were targeted in acts of terrorism, while the international community and human rights advocates remained silent.Speakers further warned that after attempts to destabilize Iran’s government, Pakistan could be the next target.

They described Iran as a barrier between Pakistan and Israel and asserted that despite sacrifices, Iran would remain strong and stable. They also condemned the firing on peaceful protesters in Karachi and declared that the people of Pakistan would not abandon Palestine or Tehran.The speakers termed regional instability, including tensions involving Pakistan and Afghanistan and the attack on Iran, as part of a broader American strategy.

They criticized what they described as hypocrisy among certain rulers for failing to take a clear stance against the attack on Iran. They also condemned what they called the indifference of some Arab states toward Gaza, stating that Iran is being punished for supporting Palestine.

A large number of participants visited the pictorial exhibition on Palestine and appreciated the efforts of Palestine Foundation Pakistan. During the conference, 13-year-old Pakistani novelist Syeda Minsa Zahra was specially honored, along with her family, for writing a novel on Palestine.
