KARACHI (Palestine Foundation Information Center) A condolence reference and prayer in memory of Karamat Ali, Patron Member of Palestine Foundation Pakistan (PLF), was organized at the head office of Palestine Foundation Pakistan, in which prayers were offered for Karamat Ali, a well-known social and human rights leader.
It should be noted that Karamat Ali passed on 20 June at the age of 78 years.
In the condolence reference, the members of the guardian committee of PLF including Majlis Wahdat Muslimin Pakistan Sindh President Allama Baqir Zaidi, former member of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan Sindh Assembly Major (retd) Qamar Abbas, Awami National Party’s Younis Boniri, Pakistan Muslim League (Q) Sadiq Sheikh, Kashmiri leader Bashir Saduzai and Secretary General of PLF Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam participated while a large number of members were present.
The condolence reference, the grandson of Karamat Ali Mr. Sajeel Ahmed, well-known social leaders Anusha, Dr. Samreen, Intekhab Alam Zubiri, Anwar Zeb, Moaz Nizami, and others were present in the condolence reference.
The participants paid tribute to Karamat Ali, a well-known social leader who defended human rights and laborers’ rights, and said that Karamat Ali will always be remembered for his unprecedented struggle for human rights. He defended the rights of oppressed Palestinians till his last breath. He was the strong voice of Palestine in Pakistan.
Speakers said that Karamat Ali always raised his voice for the rights of the oppressed. Today he has passed away but his memory is being kept alive.
Secretary General of Palestine Foundation Pakistan Dr. Sabir Abu Maryam thanked the guests and said that Karamat Ali’s services will always be remembered in golden words.
