Day 643: Gaza’s ongoing genocide escalates amid international silence

GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces continue their genocidal war on Gaza for the 643rd consecutive day, using airstrikes, artillery shelling, and the killing of starving civilians and displaced persons. These crimes continue under full U.S. political and military support, international silence, and unprecedented abandonment by the global community.

Latest Developments

PIC correspondents reported that the occupation forces launched dozens of airstrikes and committed further massacres as the suffering of over two million displaced Palestinians deepens amid a severe famine.

Medical sources confirmed numerous martyrs and dozens of injuries in Israeli airstrikes, artillery shelling, and gunfire across various areas of Gaza since early Thursday:

  • 7:54 AM: Five martyrs and several injured in an Israeli strike on Al-Tayara roundabout, Deir al-Balah, central Gaza.

  • 7:08 AM: Artillery shelling in Al-Shamaa area, Al-Zeitoun neighborhood, southeast Gaza City.

  • 5:22 AM: Sirens sounded in Tel Aviv and central Israel following a missile launch from Yemen.

  • 4:31 AM: Ongoing artillery shelling targets eastern Gaza neighborhoods.

  • 4:30 AM: Israeli army demolishes homes east of Gaza City.

  • 3:36 AM: Heavy gunfire from Israeli vehicles towards eastern Gaza City.

  • 3:35 AM: Artillery shelling around Al-Shamaa, southeast Gaza City.

  • 3:27 AM: Four martyrs and injuries reported in an airstrike on Abu Jild family home, Al-Bureij refugee camp.

  • 12:26 AM: Al-Awda Hospital (Al-Nuseirat): One martyr and 14 injuries (7 critical) from Israeli targeting of civilians near Al-Razzi restaurant, Al-Nuseirat camp.

The Genocide Continues

According to the Ministry of Health, the Israeli occupation’s genocidal war—with full U.S. support—has so far resulted in:

  • 57,680+ martyrs

  • 137,409+ wounded

  • 11,000+ missing persons

Famine continues to claim dozens of lives daily, while over two million Palestinians endure forced displacement amid the widespread destruction.

Since Israel reneged on the ceasefire agreement on March 18, 2025, an additional 7,118 martyrs and 25,368 injuries have been recorded.

Since May 27, when Israel turned limited aid distribution points into death traps, the toll includes:

  • 773 martyrs

  • 5,101+ wounded

  • 39 missing persons

The controversial “Gaza Humanitarian Foundation”—an Israeli-American project rejected by the UN—is being used to impose surrender under the guise of humanitarian aid.

Israeli forces have also killed:

  • 1,581 medical personnel

  • 115 civil defense workers

  • 220 aid security staff

  • 754 police and aid workers

Over 15,000 massacres have been committed, wiping out 2,500+ families from civil records and targeting 14,000+ families.

According to the Government Media Office and UN agencies, Israel’s war has:

  • Destroyed 88% of Gaza’s buildings

  • Caused losses exceeding $62 billion

  • Seized 77% of Gaza’s land

The destruction includes:

  • 149 completely destroyed schools, universities, and educational institutions

  • 369 partially damaged

  • 828 mosques destroyed, 167 damaged

  • 19 out of 60 cemeteries demolished
