GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) committed another horrifying massacre against civilians waiting to receive aid from a distribution point in the Netzarim area, south of Gaza City.
According to local sources, the bodies of at least 18 martyrs and several wounded civilians were evacuated to the war-ravaged Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City.
The Red Crescent, for its part, said that a medical team from Al-Quds Hospital dealt with six martyrs and more than 95 wounded citizens
Al-Awda Hospital in northern Gaza reportedly received at least four martyrs and over 90 wounded people.
All those casualties were evacuated from al-Nabulsi area in the northwest of the Netzarim area after Israeli forces opened fire at them.
Al Jazeera satellite channel, for its part, said that Israeli forces killed today at least 25 aid seekers at a food distribution site near the so-called Netzarim Corridor, south of Gaza City.
Today’s killings are the latest in a series of attacks on civilians seeking food at makeshift aid centers operated by the controversial Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF), a US-led initiative backed by Israel in Israeli-controlled zones in Gaza.
More than 150 people have now been killed and more than 700 wounded by Israeli forces while desperately trying to access meager food parcels for their hungry families from the aid sites since the GHF program started on May 27.
Multiple Gazans have also been reported missing since the Israeli army started killing aid seekers near GHF sites.
Gaza’s Government Media Office has condemned the US-Israeli aid distribution sites as “human slaughterhouses,” accusing Israeli forces of luring desperate civilians to their deaths.
