OCCUPIED JERUSALEM (Palestine Foundation Information Center) More than 100 Jewish settlers desecrated the courtyards of the Aqsa Mosque in Occupied Jerusalem on Wednesday morning.
Jerusalemite sources said that 81 settlers and 20 students entered the holy Islamic site in different groups and toured its courtyards under heavy Israeli police protection.
They added that scores of those settlers performed Talmudic rituals at the eastern area of the Aqsa Mosque before leaving the site via al-Silsila Gate.
Israeli police forces tightened their security grip on the Old City and Aqsa gates during the incursion and restricted movement and entry of Palestinian worshipers.
