WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out a large-scale campaign of overnight and dawn raids on homes in the West Bank and kidnaped two Palestinian citizens in east Jerusalem on Tuesday morning.
In Nablus, Israeli forces stormed the village of al‑Lubban al‑Sharqiya, where they raided over 200 homes, interrogated several residents and blocked roads.
In Qalqilya, Israeli forces stormed the city, the town of Habla, and the village of Ras Atiya, patrolling several streets.
Local sources reported that the IOF restricted the movement of citizens for about two hours during its raids in Habla and Ras Atiya.
In Jenin, Israeli forces broke into and ransacked several homes in the town of Ya’bad and detained and interrogated a number of citizens.
In Ramallah, Israeli troops carried out violent raids on homes in the towns of Silwad and Turmus Ayya, with no reported arrests.
In east Jerusalem, the Israeli police kidnaped two citizens from al‑Hathroura Bedouin community after summoning them for interrogation.
The detainees sustained eye injuries yesterday after a horde of extremist Jewish settlers stormed al-Hathroura community and attacked them with pepper spray.
The IOF also carried out raids in other West Bank areas, without making arrests.
