Israeli artillery also shelled the vicinity of the Ministry of Social Development’s headquarters in Beit Lahia, north of the Gaza Strip.
Four people were killed and others were injured in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Abu Khater family home in the Ma’an area, east of Khan Yunis. The bombing targeted Manar Abu Khater, director of the Education Directorate east of Khan Yunis, killing him and three members of his family.
Six people were killed in an Israeli airstrike on a makeshift tent housing displaced persons in the Qizan Rashwan area, south of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.
Sheikh Jamal Abu Samra, his wife, and several members of his family were killed during the attack.
Israel’s relentless bombardment of Gaza continues, with at least 16 Palestinians killed in attacks across the Strip since the early hours of the morning.
