OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (The Palestine Information Centre)Dozens of Jewish settlers forced their way into the Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday morning under heavy police protection.
The Islamic Endowments Department affirmed that the settler groups entered the Mosque via its Maghariba Gate and toured its courtyards.
A number of settlers escorted by police officers also gathered in the eastern area of the Mosque and embarked on performing Talmudic prayers.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation police imposed movement and entry restrictions on Muslim worshipers at the Aqsa Mosque’s entrances and gates.
The Aqsa Mosque is exposed to daily desecration by Jewish settlers and police forces in the morning and the afternoon except on Fridays and Saturday
