WEST BANK,(Palestine Foundation Information Center)The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) arrested dozens of Palestinians in the West Bank at dawn Monday, including ex-prisoners and activists affiliated with the Hamas Movement.
In Nablus, clashes broke out after IOF troops stormed and searched several local houses. A young man was shot and injured in the foot during the clashes.
Seven other youths were also detained during the raids.
In Tubas, armed clashes broke out when the IOF stormed the city amid heavy live fire. Two local residents suffered from gunshot injuries during the clashes.
Similar raids were also carried out in Tulkarem, where dozens of houses were violently searched. At least one young man was arrested.
The IOF also arrested four Palestinians in Jenin, while another young man was rounded up in Qalqilia.
Two other youths were detained from their family houses in Salfit.
Three other Palestinians were rounded up in Ramallah towns, including the Palestinian young girl and activist Ahed Tamimi, while a young man was detained in Bethlehem.
In al-Khalil, four Palestinians were kidnapped, including a woman, during the IOF pre-dawn raids.
Earlier Monday, a Palestinian was killed, and five others were wounded, three of them critically, after the IOF broke into the town of Halhoul north of al-Khalil in the southern West Bank.
