WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped last night and on Tuesday dozens of Palestinian citizens and injured three others during raids in the West Bank, amid clashes in some areas.
According to local sources, three young men suffered bullet injures during clashes between local youths and Israeli forces in Qalandia refugee camp and al-Matar street in the north of Jerusalem.
Local sources said that a large number of Israeli troops stormed Qalandia camp, spread in its streets and embarked on firing live ammunition and tear gas canisters at local residents, which provoked clashes with them.
In Bethlehem, the IOF kidnaped over 25 young men during raids on homes in Teqoa town.
Local sources in al-Ammour neighborhood of the town said that Israeli soldiers carried out violent raids on homes, assaulted many citizens and fired live bullets during one of those home raids.
In al-Khalil, the IOF carried out dozens of raids on homes in al-Fawwar refugee camp, kidnaped about 100 citizens and imposed a curfew, amid different assaults.
The IOF reportedly blindfolded the detainees and gathered them in the sports club of the refugee camp.
Four citizens were also taken prisoners during IOF raids in other areas of al-Khalil province.
In Nablus, Israeli forces stormed Kafr Qallil town, where they raided a number of homes and kidnaped one citizen.
Local sources said that the IOF went on the rampage through the town, damaging cars and property belonging to local residents.
In Qalqilya, the IOF kidnaped two young brothers from their homes in the central area of the city.
The IOF also stormed different areas of Ramallah province, including Birzeit town and Bireh City. One citizen was reportedly kidnaped from his home in Birzeit.
