The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) carried out a wide arrest campaign last night and early Monday in different West Bank areas, kidnaping and detaining dozens of Palestinian citizens.
In Bethlehem, Israeli forces stormed Beit Fajjar south of the city, broke into several homes, and detained 40 citizens.
Local sources said that the IOF released all the detainees after interrogating them in the town.
The IOF also detained and interrogated four citizens in al‑Ubeidiya town, east of Bethlehem, after ransacking their homes.
In al-Khalil, the IOF detained and interrogated dozens of citizens following raids on homes in al-Samu town and kidnaped one young man from Sa’ir town.
Meanwhile, Israeli forces set up several military checkpoints at the entrances of al-Khalil City and areas around it and closed a number of main and side roads with barriers, concrete blocks, and mounds of dirt.
In Ramallah, the IOF kidnaped six citizens from al-Rantis village and five others from al-Lubban al-Gharbi village.
In Salfit, Israeli forces last night used a house in the town of az‑Zawiya, west of Salfit, as military barracks after forcibly evicting its residents. For the second consecutive day, the IOF has been blocking the town’s main entrance with mounds of dirt.
Several young men were reportedly assaulted and detained by the IOF yesterday and today in az-Zawiya town.
In Nablus, the IOF kidnaped a young man from the city’s al-Quds street and a father and his son from Zawata village.
In Jenin, the IOF kidnaped four citizens after detaining and interrogating several people following raids on homes in Qabatiya town.
Earlier at dawn, Israeli forces raided several homes in Jenin’s al‑Jaberiyat neighborhood, searched them, and forced a number of families to evacuate, including the Zubeidi family.
The IOF also stormed other areas of the West Bank, with no reported arrests.
