Dozens of Palestinians Arrested in IOF Raids Across West Bank

WEST BANK, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) kidnaped dozens of Palestinian citizens during raids in the West Bank last night and at dawn Wednesday.

According to local sources, Israeli forces raided several homes in the Ras al-Ein area near Nablus City and kidnaped one citizen.

The IOF also kidnaped two citizens from Tulkarem’s Artah suburb and Teqoa town in Bethlehem.

In al-Khalil, the IOF launched a wide campaign of raids and arrests in the town of Beit Ummar, where at least 20 citizens were kidnaped from their homes.

According to local sources, Israeli forces violently stormed citizens’ homes and rampaged through them, using explosive devices to break into some of them.

The sources said that soldiers stole a large amount of gold jewelry from one of the homes in Beit Ummar.

All the detainees were taken to an Israeli army camp inside the illegal Karmei Tzur settlement, south of Beit Ummar.

In Salfit, 10 citizens were taken prisoner following IOF raids on homes in different areas of the city.

Meanwhile, the website of a-Quds newspaper said that about 100 Palestinian citizens were kidnaped or detained during overnight and dawn IOF raids in different areas of the West Bank.
