WEST BANK, (The Palestine Foundation Pakistan)The Israeli occupation forces raided several villages and towns across the West Bank on Friday morning, arresting one young man and demolishing the home of a Palestinian accused of carrying out the Ramot operation, local sources reported.
According to the sources, the Israeli forces stormed the village of Al-Mughayyir, northeast of Ramallah, and arrested a young man after raiding and searching his home.
The Israeli forces also blew up the home of martyr Mohammad Bassam Taha in the town of Qatanna, north of Occupied Jerusalem. Taha was one of the individuals involved in the Ramot operation that took place last September and resulted in the death and injury of more than 20 Israeli settlers.
Prior to the demolition, the Israeli troops surrounded the area and imposed a military blockade around the home.
In related incidents, Israeli forces stormed Balata refugee camp, east of Nablus, and raided a residential home and several commercial stores.
Meanwhile, a settlement guard prevented Palestinian farmers from reaching their lands near the tents in the Qamas area, part of Beita town, south of Nablus. At the same time, settlers raided the Shakara area east of Duma and vandalized Palestinian property there.
Israeli forces also fired tear gas canisters at farmers in Beita while they worked their lands, part of an ongoing strategy to restrict Palestinian access to their agricultural fields.
The West Bank has been witnessing daily raids, arrests, and home demolitions since the start of Israel’s war of extermination in Gaza.
According to official Palestinian data, at least 1,050 Palestinians have been killed in the West Bank, with around 10,300 injured and over 20,000 arrested, including 400 children, since the beginning of the war on Gaza in October 2023.
