GAZA, (The Palestine Foundation Pakistan)The Gaza Civil Defense reported on Friday that Israeli occupation forces targeted a small passenger bus carrying about 10 people with artillery shells near Kuwait Roundabout on Salah al-Din Road in the Zeitoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City, marking yet another violation of the ceasefire.
The Civil Defense stated that its crews managed to rescue an injured boy from the scene. However, the fate of the remaining passengers remains unknown due to the dangerous field conditions and the difficulty of accessing the area amid ongoing shelling.
Rescue teams added that they are coordinating with relevant international bodies to secure access to the bombing site and retrieve the victims and wounded.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with American and European support, has waged a genocidal campaign in Gaza that included killing, starvation, destruction, forced displacement, and mass arrests, all while ignoring international appeals and binding orders from the International Court of Justice to halt the war.
The genocide has resulted in over 238,000 Palestinians killed or wounded, the majority of whom are children and women. More than 11,000 people remain missing, and hundreds of thousands have been displaced. Widespread famine has claimed many lives, especially children, alongside massive destruction that has wiped entire cities and regions in Gaza off the map.
