RAMALLAH, (Palestine Foundation Information Center) One extremist Jewish settler was wounded Thursday morning after being shot in the head near the illegal settlement of Malachi Hashalom, northeast of Ramallah in the occupied West Bank.
The shooting operation targeted a group of settlers grazing cattle in a Palestinian area near the settlement.
According to the Hebrew media, two settlers were grazing cows near the settlement when a masked man, who was lurking among trees, fired two shots at them.
The Israeli occupation forces launched a manhunt for the shooter in nearby Palestinian areas and blocked roads.
Immediately following the incident, a horde of armed settlers and a large number of Israeli soldiers reportedly spread near al-Mughayyir town in Ramallah, apparently gearing up to carry out attacks against Palestinian residents and property in the area
