AL-KHALIL, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), A group of extremist Jewish settlers attacked Palestinian shepherds in the Masafer Yatta area south of al-Khalil on Wednesday.
Local activist Osama Makhamra told the WAFA news agency that armed settlers from an illegal outpost in Masafer Yatta attacked shepherds from the Aliyan Awad family in Wadi Abu Shabban.
Makhamra added that the settlers pelted the shepherds with stones and attempted to steal a flock of sheep, but the shepherds stood their ground and tried to fend off the attackers despite lacking any means of protection.
He noted that Israeli forces later intervened and detained the shepherds at the site.
