OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Hamas Movement has strongly condemned the Israeli occupation army’s desecration of hundreds of graves in a cemetery east of Gaza City during its recent search for the remains of a soldier.
“The Israeli occupation committed a new crime by desecrating hundreds of graves in a cemetery east of Gaza while searching for the body of its last soldier, with no regard for any human, legal, or moral values,” Hamas spokesman Hazem Qasem said in a statement on Tuesday.
“This crime has been repeated countless times during the genocidal war on the Gaza Strip,” Qasem added.
“Such moral and legal collapse of the Zionist entity and its army is the direct consequence of the international community’s failure to hold it accountable for all its unprecedented crimes,” the spokesman said.
He noted that the Israeli army killed four Palestinians on Tuesday morning while they were outside the “yellow line” area east of Gaza City, emphasizing that the genocidal war against Palestinians in Gaza continues unabated.
