GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced on Monday that five Palestinian martyrs were brought to hospitals in the Gaza Strip over the past 24 hours. Among them were two bodies recovered from under the rubble, in addition to four wounded individuals.
According to the ministry, the total death toll and injuries since the start of Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, have now reached 71,800 victims and 171,555 wounded.
The ministry noted that many victims remain trapped under the rubble and on the roads, as emergency and civil defense crews are still unable to reach them due to ongoing attacks and access restrictions.
Since the implementation of the latest ceasefire on October 11, 2025, 526 Palestinians have been killed and 1,447 injured as a result of Israeli violations. Additionally, 717 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble during this period.
In October 2023, Israel, with backing from the United States and European countries, launched a genocidal war in Gaza that included widespread killing, starvation, destruction, displacement, and mass arrests, ignoring repeated international calls and rulings from the International Court of Justice demanding a halt to the war.
