GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The General Directorate of Police in Gaza declared the killing of five of its forces in an Israeli airstrike on a vehicle they were riding in, while performing their police duty in the Central Governorate of Gaza City on Monday evening.
“The Israeli direct targeting of police personnel comes as part of Israeli efforts to strike the internal front and spread chaos in the Gaza Strip,” the Police Directorate said.
The Gaza Police Directorate called on the international community to pressure the Israeli occupation to stop its direct and repeated targeting of the police personnel.
The Directorate also stressed that targeting police personnel is a flagrant violation of international law and human rights law.
