WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) Five Palestinian young men were reportedly killed by the Israeli occupation forces (IOF) on Monday morning in different areas of the West Bank.
A young man, Obeida Hasan, 18, was killed after a soldier shot him during an angry protest that started after several military jeeps stormed Silwad town, east Ramallah.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian health ministry said the Israeli soldiers killed two young men in Dura town, south of al-Khalil.
It said a young man, Muhannad Fasfous, 18, succumbed to serious gunshot wounds to the chest.
Fasfous was among four wounded Palestinians — one of them was Moataz Tbeish, who succumbed to serious gunshot wounds to the head earlier.
In Teqoa town, southeast of Bethlehem, the IOF killed 16-year-old Rani al-Sha’er after showering him with bullets during confrontations with local youths in Khirbet al-Deir area. The IOF reportedly prevented an ambulance crew from reaching the teenager and then detained his body.
Two young men were also injured by live bullets and many others suffered from their exposure to tear gas during the events in Teqoa town.
Earlier at dawn, a young man identified as Thaer Hammou was shot dead by IOF gunfire in Yamun town, west of Jenin.
The IOF also went on the rampage through different areas of the West Bank, destroying public and private property, raiding homes, assaulting citizens and kidnaping others.
The Palestinian Prisoner Society said the IOF kidnaped at least 40 Palestinians, including ex-detainees, from the West Bank and Jerusalem today.
