GAZA, (Palestine Foundation Information Center), Israeli forces continued violating the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip on Friday for the 132nd consecutive day, carrying out airstrikes, artillery shelling, live fire, and demolitions of residential buildings across multiple areas of Gaza.
A local source reported that Israeli forces demolished residential buildings east of Al-Bureij refugee camp in central Gaza. Meanwhile, Israeli naval vessels opened heavy fire off the coast of Khan Yunis in the southern part of the Strip.
Israeli military vehicles also fired toward eastern Khan Yunis, while Israeli aircraft launched two airstrikes east of Gaza City, alongside ongoing artillery shelling.
Since the ceasefire came into effect, Israeli violations have resulted in the killing of 638 Palestinians, including 197 children and 84 women, and the injury of 1,630 others.
Since the start of the genocidal war on October 7, 2023, Israeli forces have killed more than 72,000 Palestinians, injured approximately 172,000 others, and left more than 8,000 missing. The offensive has also caused widespread destruction, affecting around 90% of civilian infrastructure, with reconstruction costs estimated by the United Nations at approximately $70 billion.
