WEST BANK (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) launched at dawn Tuesday a large-scale raid and arrest campaign in several areas of the West Bank, which led to the outbreak of violent clashes.
In Nablus, the IOF troops stormed Balata al-Balad area and surrounded a local house amid heavy gunfire.
At least two young men were detained during the raid.
The IOF also forced their way into Rojib and Beit Dajan villages, east of Nablus, and arrested a young man from his family house.
Two more youths were arrested in similar raids in Beit Furik town.
In Tubas, the IOF arrested at least one Palestinian young man and carried out violent raids in Aqaba town.
The IOF also detained three young men in Qalqilya, another in Ramallah, and six others in Bethlehem, including two minors.
In al-Khalil, three Palestinians were rounded up from their family houses, including two minors.
The IOF also stormed Yatta town and carried out a violent raid and search campaign in the headquarters of the Islamic Charitable Society for Orphan Care in the town, and several local homes.
More than 20 citizens were detained for several hours during the raid before being released in appalling condition.
