NAZARETH (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Israeli occupation forces (IOF) set the beginning of the next week as the date for the return of the displaced to the northern Gaza Strip, as part of the ceasefire agreement that came into force last Sunday morning.
In a statement published on Tuesday, the IOF warned the Palestinians not to approach its forces, which remained stationed in areas identified by the ceasefire agreement, especially the Netzarim axis, which is a very dangerous zone to be approached.
“It is dangerous to approach the Rafah crossing area, the Philadelphi axis, and all Israeli forces’ positions in the southern Gaza Strip,” the IOF said.
The army’s statement also considered that “the marine area along the Strip poses a great danger, stressing that the Palestinians are prohibited from practicing fishing, swimming and diving,” warning against “entering the sea in the coming days.”
