Gaza resistance releases three Israelis in exchange for 110 Palestinian prisoners

GAZA (Palestine Foundation Information Center) The Palestinian resistance in the Gaza Strip released on Thursday morning another group of Israeli captives in exchange for 110 Palestinian prisoners, including children, slated for release from Israeli jails later today.

Agam Berger, a 20-year-old Israeli soldier, was released by al-Qassam Brigades of Hamas during a ceremony after she emerged from under the rubble of a house at Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza.

The second prisoner handover took place in the southern city of Khan Younis next to the bombed house of martyr Yehya Sinwar, Hamas’s top leader in Gaza, where Israeli Arbel Yehoud and Gadi Mozes, both Israeli civilians, were released by al-Quds Brigades of Islamic Jihad.

In addition to those Israeli captives, five Thai workers were reportedly released on the same day. All the detainees were handed over to Red Cross crews in northern and southern Gaza.

Later, the Red Cross handed the released captives over to the Israeli occupation forces before they were transported into Israel (1948 occupied territory).

Meanwhile, preparations are being made to release 110 Palestinian prisoners today, including 30 children and 32 people who were sentenced to life imprisonment,

Red Cross buses have arrived at the Israeli jail of Ofer in the occupied West Bank to receive the prisoners, according to media sources.
